20 x 16 inches, oil on canvas - I have not posted for the summer due to travel, gardening, and just general resting. I did not totally stop painting though because this would be hard to do, but I am back now. This is a commission that I did of a dog that is sadly gone now, and much missed by his owners.
Gary, thank you so much for doing this painting. I will be forever grateful to Shelby for her asking you to do this for us. We will now forever have Dexter with us in our home. I used to always take both sides of his big, goofy face in my hands and just look at him in his eyes and give him a hug. The painting is so real and life-like that it makes me feel as if I can do that all over again. I wish there were words to express how much having this painting means to us.
