6 x 6 inches - oil on gessoboard - As with most golden retrievers, this copper coloured one is gentle and calm.

Tay Ling and Shadow

9 x 12 inches - oil on hardboard - Here are Tay Ling and Shadow. They are gone now but remembered fondly.  Tay was not the sharpest knife in the drawer but had his charms. He was a stocky large shih tzu and his neck was so thick that he would slip out of any collar so we had to put him in a harness. Our grandchildren called him suitcase. Shadow was a nervous dog who always had to make sure everything and everyone were ok.

Molson

6 x 8 inches - oil on gessoboard - Molson is our granddaughter's dog.  He is big, friendly, he slobbers a lot, and he likes to carry a big stick around the yard.

Bentley

8 x 8 inches - oil on linen board - Bentley is sadly no longer with us. He loved to spend time in the garden.

By the Green Wall

6 x 6 inches - oil on hardboard - About a block from us is this green wall that gives the houses privacy from the road. At different times of day the light falls on it in interesting ways. I might expand on this idea down the road a bit.

Finn

8 x 8 inches - oil on wood panel - There are few creatures cuter than a puppy. This is my first try using a cradled wood panel. I enjoyed the experience.

Hank

6 x 8 inches - oil on hardboard - This is Hank, well loved by his family.

Dexter

20 x 16 inches, oil on canvas - I have not posted for the summer due to travel, gardening, and just general resting. I did not totally stop painting though because this would be hard to do, but I am back now. This is a commission that I did of a dog that is sadly gone now, and much missed by his owners.

Calie

8 x 6 inches, Oil on Canvas Board - This is our Grandson's dog Calie. She looks scary but she is not.  Our little cat Zipper makes her cry like a girl.

Copper

16 x 20 oil on hardboard.  This is Copper the wonder dog going for a dip in the river.
