Drydock

6 x 8 " Oil on canvas board - The boat is from a photo that I took in Vancouver and the shed is like the cedar shake ones I have seen near Halifax. So this painting goes from coast to coast.  I like the way the sea makes everything all crusty. I am not sure the boat owners feel the same way about it.

The Future is Electric

Oil on Gessoboard 6 x 6. This is an electric car from 1916 which is still running very well, proof that cars took the wrong fork in the road a long, long, long time ago. We are just now starting to get back on track.

I have not posted for a while. I have been rethinking some things with my painting and redoing my space a bit. I am having a bit of difficulty with stray reflections, both while painting and with photographing my work. When I photograph the paintings, I sometimes get reflected speckles that are not really there.
