Lynx

16 x 20 inches - oil on canvas board - I thought I was done with my big cat series but apparently not.

12 x 16 inches - oil on canvas board. Here is another in my big cat series.

Watching in the Tree

12 x 16 inches - oil on canvas board - I wouldn't turn your back on this one.

Walking with Mother

12 x 16 inches - oil on canvas board - These two youngsters stay close to Mom because, even for tigers there is danger out there.

Lion in the Sun

12 x 16 inches - oil on canvas board - I created a series of paintings a while ago about big cats. It was fun to do and I hope you like them.

Alone

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - They have forgotten me and left for good. Now what do I do? This is probably the last of my series on cats waiting at doors.

Trouble

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - I'll make you an offer you cannot refuse. Let me in and I won't make your life miserable (which you know that I can do). I have been working on a series of paintings of cats waiting at doors.

Still Waiting

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - If you let me in I will stick around to listen to you go on and on about your day. I have been working on a series about cats waiting at doors.

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - Want to hear a bad cat joke? I'm just kitten. I have been working on a series of cats waiting at doors.

Mystery

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - Have you ever wondered what I named you? I have been working lately on a series about cats waiting at doors.

Smarty Pants

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice. Too bad I have to depend on unreliable humans to open the door. I have been working on a series of small paintings about cats waiting at doors.

Losing Patience

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - I know that they will be here (eventually) but....damn! I have been working on a series of small paintings about cats waiting at doors. Don't ask. It's the way my mind works. For me it is helpful to practice a similar topic as a series.

Do I Know You?

8 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - I have been working on a series of small paintings about cats waiting at doors. Don't ask. It's the way my mind works. For me it is helpful to practice a similar topic as a series. This fellow is looking at us wishing that we have the key to let him in. He is not fussy about who does it as long as it gets done.

12 x 16 inches - oil on canvas board - This cat is around but rarely seen.

Owl and Cat

12 x 12 inches - oil on canvas board - This owl is delivering a message. What he might not know is that cats are quick and pretty good at managing mischief. He could end up with empty talons and a bent beak.

Fishing Shacks

12 x 9 inches - oil on canvas board - Somewhere on the coast of Nova Scotia, the fishermen have these sheds for storing their stuff and the feral cats find their nets a cosy place to snooze.

Frankie

12 x 9 inches - oil on linen - This is Frankie (short for Frankenfurter). He is a very contented, well behaved cat. He almost always holds his tail straight up in the air and he has a little white tip on it. We almost called him Q Tip.

Zipper

10 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - This is Zipper. He liked people, especially those who were not particularly fond of cats. He was a fun loving cat, but he is gone now and we miss him.

Cat on the Bed

20 x 16 inches - oil on hardboard - This cat likes to occupy the bed so she can watch the birds fly by. Sometimes she gets a bit of sun too.
