Zipper

10 x 8 inches - oil on canvas board - This is Zipper. He liked people, especially those who were not particularly fond of cats. He was a fun loving cat, but he is gone now and we miss him.

The Teacher

10 x 8 inches - oil on linen board - Lately, I have been slowing down and taking more time on a few paintings. I did not do them alla prima as I normally do and have changed materials a little.  I am using oil paints with walnut oil and using walnut oil as medium. I also invested in linen boards to try them out.

Sitting on the Bank Steps

10 x 8 inches - oil on gessoboard - I have passed this bank on the corner for many years and always wanted to paint a scene with it.  I like the way the sun casts shadows on the door.
