8 x 8 inches - Oil on hardboard - This is our orange tree which in our climate is a houseplant. It is over 50 years old and it flowers and continuously produces fruit. Don't eat it though because it tastes nasty.

Behind the Beaver Dam
6 x 6 inches, oil on hardboard - This part of the river is kept flooded by the beavers. It is a beautiful spot in the woods where you walk on an orange carpet of pine needles.

Angus
6 x 8 inches, oil on hardboard - This is Angus, a solid lad just out of kittendom. He likes to wrestle with his brother Adso and our Zipper when they have play dates together. I painted Adso a little while ago and did not want him to get jealous.

Snowdrops
7 x 5 inches, oil on gessoboard - Snowdrops are a sure sign that spring is just around the corner. We still have some small piles of snow stubbornly melting, but the garden is starting to pop out of the ground. I picked these from our garden and painted them because they will not be around for long.

6 x 6 inches, oil on gessoboard - If I have given some of you of a certain age an ear worm for the day, I apologize. Snow coming down again today. I might just stay inside all day and paint or hide under the covers.
